just for a bit...

out of the woods to report in. Making shows, puppets big and small, and still living the subsistence wandering gypsy medicine show life. This week will be 3 parades and 3 big shows. Gonna hand off my cameras (or sit one out) so i can get some video and more pictures. It's a great adventure, and I have my head blown apart daily.

Out of the woods for a moment...

I've been (am) away.

We live in the woods like wild and gentle animals, a tribe fueled by common purpose, a cheap art aesthetic, good humor, hard work and music that is spontaneous, infectious and never ending. An alternative world that acknowledges light and dark, but ultimately maintains hope and optimism by using cardboard, cheap paint, rusted wire, old innertubes, duct tape, dancing and laughter, completely independent of (or in spite of) any economic or commercial overtones or influence.

Make it up, make do, or do without.
