I don't know if it's possible to like pencils and paper too much. wherever I go I have at least one pen in the top pocket of my overalls; I use pencil sometimes but I end up smudging it all over. I still am having a terrible time looking at something and drawing what I see and not what I want to see. but I'm hopeful I'll get better with practice.

Isn't this what it's all about! And so beautifully done. It's all there, right in front of us (as I'm often heard to say). We only have to see.
